Something about chefs
No, don't worry, this is not me talking about food or anything like that. Not that it would be a bad thing, but I'll leave such topics to people who are a little more picky when it comes to dinning.
What I was thinking about this morning is actually an idiom, a somewhat famous one that rings true almost all the time.
"Too many chefs in the kitchen"
A comical way of outlining how power struggles play out. In other words, too many people trying to control the outcome, always results in conflict and a meal that might not be too appetizing for anyone.
Why am I thinking about this? Well, because it seems to me that's important that we realize when we are falling into these situations and allow ourselves to find balance, to follow direction for a change, specially if that is where we can be the most valuable.
I've been seeing lots of arguing lately, lots of finger pointing too and of course the frustration is very justifiable. But, I've also seen how some people are being catalogued as "evil" or "stupid" just because they don't agree, or have questions, and I fail to find the silver lining there.
Listen, these are tough times, nobody denies that. Let's not forget we are all in this together, and do some introspection as to how we can help the most, if we can help that is.
I won't lie, I fully expect things to get much uglier before they get good, but I sincerely hope that relationships, friendships even, don't get destroyed along the way.... All because people can't agree on the soup.
Much love

@meno, True words brother, we need more balance because sometimes situations rises which really disbalance everything and can lead to a situation where frustration arises, but as you said, we have to do the self introspection and have to find the good points which are available in this current situation. Stay blessed.

Having robust conversations and conflict are an important factor in building community as well as the individuals can grow strong and resilient when working through the challenges. However, there will always be those there to be a disruption and not provide progress purposely so it is important for the leaders to filter them out. That is the difficult side of managing and leading projects that succeed. Imagine how this is amplified in a decentralized DPOS structure!
