One more day before payouts
This is going to be very interesting my friends. You see, tomorrow at about this time, we should see the market for Palcoin on STEEM-ENGINE move a bit. Now, in which direction? I'm not entirely sure, but I suspect the ceiling potential for Palcoin is very, very high.

I fully intend to be an orca on Palcoin as soon as I possibly can, and I'm just a few days of payouts away from being a dolphin, so it doesn't seem impossible at all. Now, I've been reading still some negative comments about the 50/50 payout proposal that has been put forth for discussion and later implementation, but we are literally watching an experiment(Palcoin/Palnet) on this front, and the results would surely give us a valuable information.
It might not be a bad idea to sell some of your STEEM holdings to power up some Palcoin, since the early worm effect is in full display. Of course, Palnet is growing and it's growing fast, and @aggroed has the memes that prove it, but let's not forget, this is just the start.

This is both good and bad.
I think that there is opportunity here on PAL, but so many people I follow and many that follow me are not active here.
I staked my PAL but it just isn’t going anywhere at the moment.
I will keep using the hashtag, and posting maybe this will take off......
They also need to add a search at the top of your blog, so we can look for people that we follow.
When you look at how many coins you have staked compared to how many total coins are staked I think you are already an orca.
I see you've been FOMOing too... good stuff hahahha hey, even if we get up into the 2:1 ratio, this would have been a genius move.

PAL Net is kind of new most on going topic for the steemian and all the person wants to be a whales as soon as possible . Best luck to you to achieve your goal. 👍

First payouts are going to be lit! I am rather excited about it. Been pushing hard to max everything I can here on palnet
I was considering the possibility of taking the earnings from my SP leases to fund the purchase of PAL for the same reason, buying stake. I sense opportunity here.

i got a whopping one PAL for my article last week lol so my payout is gonna suck lol
but i have a question. because i’m an idiot and don’t understand...i staked the airdrop we got and bought a few and staked it too....how do you ‘vote’ using pal and not steem?
i tried voting people ‘s pal content last week and it just upvotes them with my steem votes.
am i doing something wrong?

Oh, they are not separated. It's somewhat of a hybrid system. Think of the SCOT bot, the one who runs Palcoin as a listener. The bot is literally parsing through all the events on the STEEM blockchain, and adding only the valid information to it's sidechain.
So when it sees an upvote on steem, it checks if the voter has Pal Stake, and if it does, it writes the event on the sidechain. The only way to write on the Pal chain is to write on the Steem chain.
It may seem like a bad thing, but i find it as a strength. Because it really makes STEEM's ecosystem the infrastructure, the pillar of it all, and the second layer which is PAL is as dynamic as the developers would want to make it.
You are literally double dipping. Winning steem as a curator and PAL. Being PAL already a 50/50.
ok. i think i understand. so how did all those people last week get the big pal votes. was it because the person who upvotes them had steem staked too? lol pardon my ignorance just trying to figure it all out.
(blockchains are notorious for making things complicated lol)

that is correct my friend.
The PALCoin market has also stabilized and it's good to see its price climb. I guess most of the selling has been done already.
