I guess it's true - 4th of July Deportations

in #politics5 years ago (edited)

Unless you've made it a point not to listen to radio or any sort of media for the past two weeks, you know full well that the administration has been ramping up the conversation on deporting undocumented people in sanctuary cities. Well, I thought it was all bark and no bite, but I guess I was wrong.

Two agents showed up to my door, just a few minutes ago to ask questions about my neighbors. You see, a few houses down there's a neighbor who rents out rooms to people, and I don't mean to be insensitive when I say this, but it seems someone called the authorities and profiled his tenants. They didn't stay long, one of them just asked what we know about them.

After not giving them much info, because there's not a whole lot to give, they went back into their car and sat there taking notes and pictures. I peeked through the blinds as they were doing this, and it seems like they were communicating with someone while doing this.

Don't know what to think, honestly don't. I mean, I get the idea of "they broke the law, hence" mob, but it's also not realistic to believe that deporting millions of people will not hurt local economies. And truthfully, it felt as if the overlords are watching too closely what we all do.

I don't like it... not one bit.

That's really troubling to read... I wish this administration would lay off the immigration "problem".

This is not a ramping up just what shpuld always be happening. If ypu break the law no matter who you are there is always a chance it will catch you.
Illegal immigration cost billions to tax payers and does far more harm to communities than good. Are there regular illegals yes, but the numbers dont lie and breaking the law had its cost as well. Believe me in Mexico and any other nation they enforce the border law to the fullest knowing it hurts citizens if they gain illegals.

Genocide of native Americans and Jews were both legal. As was slavery. Obeying a bad law doesn't make you a bad person, but there are no good ICE agents or Nazis.

LOL seriously lumping border laws in with genocide dude is just weak. Two different things and you already lost that argument because you are trying a bait and switch. Genocide is bad and yes there are bad laws. Crossing any countries border illegally is a crime and all Nations have a right to protect their borders.
You are correct there are no good Nazis, but when you throw in law abiding men and women who deport illegals that commit horrible crimes its because you have no real argument.
Go somewhere else with that laughable stuff.

My guess is that you have never read the Definition of Genocide. Because of that I am going to take for granted that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Once you read the definition I will respect your opinion more. Meantime, seems like you are dumb.

Take your time, they use big words.

LOL taking items out of context much lol. Even with the legal definition that you are citing you are still ignoring the fact a crime has been committed. At this point any legal counsel will advise that it is not genocide because the person is trespassing.
You are still bait and switching. You are saying that a person who is committing a crime on my property and gets shot is the same as me shooting a person just walking down the street. The legal definition of homicide covers both but one is justified, whether you agree or not. Don't get made for someone sewing through your arguements lol. Have fun.

Go back to your hot pocket. Your type would justify LYNCHING because it was legal. Fn holster lickers like you landed us in this police state. Stop justifying bad laws. You are looking like a person justifies murder. You are that person.

Actually no because taking ones life because of race is a big difference than saying hey if Mexico wants me to tell them I am there I will respect that nation. Have fun getting upset

FROM THE DEFINITION OF GENOCIDE.

"Forcible transfer of children may be imposed by direct force or by fear of violence, duress, detention, psychological oppression or other methods of coercion. The Convention on the Rights of the Child defines children as persons under the age of 18 years."
You need to get a hot pocket, and quit being a fascist.

There is money in private prisons.
This is the drive behind the policy.
Also, mass surveillance is a cash cow.
We are all future detainees, it's only a matter of time.

Where I live it is a criminal act to sit, stand or lay in public places. But paying someone too little to afford rent is not a crime.

This is class war, and once the "illegal" class of workers has been removed, those jobs will be "given" to debtors. The dystopia is still in it's early stages, most people cannot imagine what is coming down the line.

I am with you, I don't like it either. I feel so sorry for anyone trying to make a living in a country that is not theres. So harsh to be deported.
