Sketch for first Apocalypse Horseman, Pestilence
I've commissioned to do the 4 apocalypse horsemen, and started with their biblical order, although there are many interpretations on the first one, as the representation of Conquest, the Antichrist, and even the second coming of Christ...there is this other as the embodiment of Pestilence, which was the one I chose to illustrate as I feel it makes it more interesting and seems to be more ingrained in the popular culture.

It's not a bird's head it's "plague doctor" mask which indeed does resemble a bird's beak.
It's quite confusing because Pestilence and Death are sometimes asociated, so I might still change this one to take that role, of last horseman the one with the pale horse.
The white horse which is the first to show up might actually look better as a Conquering King, twisted in some way of course.
