ACHIEVEMENT 1 - MY INTRODUCTORY POST

Good day to all steemit members all around the globe. My names are Anna Nana Yakubu. My username is @mellyann. I am 22years old. I am a certified Nigerian citizen by birth and I hail from Jaba local government in Kaduna state.
I am here for my achievement 1 post.

How I got here

I am so grateful to my friend Solomon isreal with the username @solexybaba for introducing me to this platform. He spoke a lot on steemit and its numerous benefits, and I picked interest in it...which I asked if I could be a part of and he affirmed, hence my presence here.

About my family and I

I am from a nuclear family of 5...this consists of my mum,3 sisters and myself. I'm the last born,yes the pet of the house(lol). My dad is late hence, he wasn't mentioned. My mum is a business woman who sells honey as a major and other things like shoes,wrappers,liquid soap,palm oil, groundnut oil and lots more as minors(in seasons sometimes).
My elder sisters are super amazing, all married with beautiful kids and lovely homes.

Academic Background

I graduated high school in the year 2016 and went ahead to study B.sc Physics at Ahmadu Bello University ,one of the prestigious higher institution in my state.

Hobbies and Interests

My favourite hobby is cooking, I have been so passionate about it, I cooked my very 1st meal at the age of 5(no I didn't Cook something not edible). Infact my mum was surprised it tested so nice and yet, I wasn't officially taught to cook either...its just in me I guess. I love to try out new recipes and experiment with different flavors and techniques and sometimes I take 5hours or more in the kitchen trying to get specific recipe right, I wouldn't stop until I get the desired results. More than a hobby I have developed my skills over the years and looking forward to been a great chef in the future.

I also love to write,this has been with me since childhood. I love the way that words can be used to tell stories, express emotions, and convey ideas. I had quite a number of pieces I had written over the years and novels too. I love to convey what I have learnt overtime that have helped me grow and become a better version of myself. Other things I enjoy doing includes reading, I'm a big reader. There's nothing like getting lost in a good book and learning something new, I also love to travel(haven't done much if this yet though) but there's always something new to discover and experience. I love to meet new people too, it's such an interesting thing to meet new people with different backgrounds and stories.

A little more about me

I am an ambivert, a mix of both an introvert and an extrovert. Yet the introvert part of me gets the best of me sometimes lol. I love family moments, having fun and spending time with the people I love. I have small circle of friends, because I believe in been there for them and been able to invest genuinely in them. One fun fact about me. I love to cover my legs when I sleep in all seasons (cold and heat)...don't tell anyone pleaseeeee,our little secrets lol

I glad to be here and I look forward to meet new people, learn and also contribute to the growth and increase of this wonderful platform.
