I came across this rather unique boulder on one of our trips down south. I didn't note the exact location, but I think it was some place in north Georgia. My guess would be that it's interesting appearance was caused by erosion. What do you think?

The "notch" in the top looks like a saddle. That would be a great place to take someone's photo, with them riding the "creature" rock.

howdy again Melinda.... no I haven't commented to him about the League, I keep forgetting! In a way it's silly but it also helps someone down the line, one less person will not get a reward if I start taking rewards again but I know, I should. I need the steem.

The blizzard that they were predicting for us went South and hit Northern Illinois way harder than it did us. I just looked outside and I see a few snowflakes out there but certainly not the nine inches they were predicting. They really blew that one! They had declared a snow emergency and a blizzard warning. The wind is really blowing, so I guess it could still blow in some snow, but it didn't begin to snow at 6 a.m. this morning like they said it was going to.
yay for the forecast not being accurate! unless you wanted the snow..lol. Does the electric ever go out there?
, we used to lose electricity frequently because the lines ran through the woods and every time a branch blew down, there went our electric. But they buried our power lines a couple years ago and I don't think we have lost power since that occurred. I do have a gas stove and a gas fireplace, so I can still cook on the stove top and my living room stays warm even if I do lose Electric. My biggest problem is water because I have a well and a pump and the pump will not work without electric. I have two Big 5 gallon containers in the laundry room that have water in them that I can access if that happens. And I do have filters and could take water from out of the spring if it was a situation where I was stranded!
