I really like the first picture with the sun breaking through the trees. We have had a very cold week here. Yesterday I woke up to -2 weather :( the snow has been pretty here as well.
those are a couple pictures of the vineyard I work in. Although we have had lots of snow and it has been cold the ground is super saturated though so it makes things a mess if I break through the snow with equipment.
this is a picture of the grass under the snow where water runs out of the vineyard.
I'm in Wisconsin. Where are you?

In the finger lakes region of NY between Seneca and Cayuga closer to Seneca Lake.
Oh! I had family near Syracuse and used to visit a few times each year. The aunt and uncle died and the cousins retired and moved to Florida, so it's been 15 years since I was there last. I have been to Letchworth State Park and Watkins Glen. Visited a few of the vineyards, too. Such a beautiful area. I love it in the fall.

Pretty! It looks like you got your share of that white stuff, too, though yours looks more wet and sticky. Great snowman snow, if you didn't already have one in the yard! How is Frosty doing? Still standing tall, or did he decide to take a nap under that blanket of fresh snow?
He is leaning very precariously! If he doesn't fall over today, I'm pretty sure he will tomorrow.
Ah well... I couldn't stay standing as long as he has!

I am not a fan of winter but I am a fan of snow filled photo's. It really is beautiful when spread all over nature.
It is pretty when it is fresh and clean!
The quite after the snow and the sun coming out sort of brings hope.
