1942 Old South African Coin set
1942 South African coin set, it’s not that common that you see people selling coins with the years the same, but lucky for me I found just the guy doing that, collecting coins than selling them as the set, I’ve been trying to do that for the past few months now, with my coins, collecting them according to the years so I can place them in sets, it’s sort of like an OCD, keeps bugging me, I really have the urge to get it done.
I don’t know what people’s take on coins that tarnish black but I kind of like that , and over here in South Africa the 1/4 farthing seems to do that a lot at times, I’ll say it’s a really nice feature they have.
The ticky know as the 3 pence is probably aswell one of my favourite, been buying them and collecting them because they cheep and some of them have 0.800 silver and 0.500 silver depending on the year, very tiny coins

I think OCD is part of being a coin collector :) If my coins are out of date, I can't even look at them. My plan is to have at least one very cool coin with a cool story for every year. I have a looooong way to go :):):)
I too love the toned coin, it will look great in a museum in 500 years :)
haha thats really true, ones you start collecting coin you just end up getting a tone of them and by a yearss time you have a huge pile, and than there is just pure luck when it comes to getting the good dates hahaha
