Power is Absolute
Two kingdoms who shared same boundaries would go at war with each other’s armies, kinsmen who once shared the same bloodline will fight themselves in battlefield and kings guards who sworn an oath to their crowns who betray them and sell their homes so cheap for POWER.
Power is an absolute realm of decree or right over property and humans. Thus, the sage words from this quote are evergreen in my mind - “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”
In the time past, during the age of the woods, metal, sorcerers and wizards. Men have grown to be slaves to “Power” and especially what its has to offer. Due to this, everyone became aware of the potentials of power to the extent that without it you cannot conquer an empire or your enemies.
The importance men conferred on power made it what it was till date. That is, we make something special when we desire it to be so.
The Berlin Wall came down and the two countries fought on a ground that ones unites them before the power mongers shared a delusional opinion amongst their kinsmen and made them believe what they (Power Mongers) wanted not what they (Kinsmen) wanted. Even at the expense of their own lives.
The rumor for the siege of power (when being done) is carried with the speed of light and wind. Nobody dares stand in its way except you want to remain in the forbidden land. But men got it all wrong the day they conferred so much a great importance on POWER. I hope very soon we retrace our steps and do what’s right about power before we are being consumed by it.
