Equality

It is not too hard to figure out that we are not only friends but instead a couple. Lovers. (That's why we chose this rainbow-colored picture.;) ) This puts us in sexual minority group of people in which equality is a hot topic, mainly because (sadly) sexuality among other qualities are still let to affect our equality and rights as a human in the modern world.

Raise your hand if you have ever been treated unequally -whether it's about your age, appearance, race, sex, sexuality, economical status or some other feature.

Probably all of us have been there at some point in our life; felt that we're not as worthy as others or another. And it is in fact a very sad truth that chances are not equal for all of us when it comes to for example getting a job or how you're treated in the society in general. So most of you prolly agree that something should be done.

Now raise your hand again if you know how to promote equality; prevent discrimination and ensure equal chances for everyone in every field in their life e.g. personal and human rights, education and work life.

This is, at least in our opinion, what everyone should focus on when it comes to think of equality: 

What concrete can I do in my everyday life so that all of us would be able to stand equal?

For us the most important thing in increasing equality among people is the way you see and treat each other. It is important to accept everyone just the way they are despite of their looks, color, age or sexuality etc. and when meeting new people focus on what's inside; do they have a heart in place and how do they treat people around them? It doesn't matter whether you are Finnish or Chinese, rich or poor, like boys or girls or neither. We hope everyone would respect each other and see differences as an assets, not as a threads.
