Walk with me let me highlight this lovely food of mine. The nutritional benefit and why I like it the most.

INTRODUCTION

It's often said; One man's food is another man's poison. However, this one is a very different food entirely.
Also, It's often said: the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
This very type of food I am about to tell you is mostly cooked in Nigeria.

The food I love the most is mostly cooked in Nigeria and is called; AFANG SOUP.
It comes a time that when I was a little boy, my family often cooks the food twice in a week especially on Saturday which later become a weekend meal.
It also come to the point that any occasion wether marriage ceremony or burial or even birthday it is often use as meals used in serving guests.
It remains a popular food till this very day.

And I am so much in love with this food called AFANG SOUP. In short, any woman that want to win me over should also serve me this meal.
I refuse calling it a native food because, is not only cooked in Nigeria but also aboard.
Back in 2019 before the COVID, when my friend boarded a flight 💸 to visit his aunty in UK he told me that he spotted one restaurant dishing AFANG SOUP to someone's. I never knew, this food is that popular not until he told me how he witness it himself abroad.

This Food called AFANG SOUP has a lot of health benefits starting from the leaf when cooked it improve eyesight and eye health. I can testify this very one that my dad is 76 years old and still counting, have never seen him putting on glasses 🕶️

  1. AFANG SOUP, is very rich in carotenoids and very importantly vitamin A which are beneficial for eye.

  2. It also reduces blood sugar. For those having diabetes, I can recommend you to fixed in afang soup as part of your routine meal.

  3. It also improved heart health and skin. I don't need to say much about this one. You need to try it for yourself and thanks me later.

  4. AFANG SOUP is very high in fiber , protein , fat, iron, magnesium and zinc. And it's affordable.

  5. For those in the chemist, afang soup had 67.9% of moisture, 12.7% of protein and energy. In which fat itself contribute about 57% of total energy.

Less I forget, I eat it 3 times in a week. In short last month I ate it 5 times me a week. You can see how I do much love and cherish this food.

When budgeting, these are what you need to consider;
Ingredients; 💯
• AFANG leaf
• Water leaf
• Stockfish
• Pomo
• Meat of any kind
• Dryfish
• Periwinkle
• Palm oil🪔
• Maggi
• Pepper
• Salt
• Onion ( just for seasoning and warming the meat)

Step by step on how is being prepared

After steaming the meat together with stockfish and Pomo for 5 minutes

I sprinkled the water leaf and cover the pot for 5 minutes.
I then sprinkle the periwinkle and cover it again.
After that I add Maggi, pepper, salt, dryfish and crayfish very important .
I then cover it again for another 5 minutes.
And lastly, I then sprinkle the AFANG and cover it for just 2 minutes because I like the AFANG being fresh.
And here everything is done. ✅ 👍
Food is now read.

All this, depending on the quantity you want and what you can afford.
You can see for yourself it's affordable.

CONCLUSION

Eating nutritional food is very important in our daily life and health because health is wealth.
You can pay me to come cook for you 😅🤣 I trust you will really enjoy the food.
Let try and make food our priority instead of snacks.
Because it helps in building up the body and also the leaves helps in fighting several diseases and hormones in the body as compared to snacks.
