Tetris is coming back!
Sony interactive Entertainment detonated the first bomb before E3 2018. Tetris is back for PlayStation 4 players.
Sony introduces Tetris effect for PlayStation 4, The game developed by Assassin games, led by interactive Entertainment, creators of luminines and RES, Tetsuya mizuguchi.
Tetris effect will deliver more than 30 levels of unique visual and sound effects that change as you progress through the game. The game will also offer support for PlayStation VR. A demo is also scheduled to be released before the game is released. With demo you can refresh your old memories.
If you remember, yesterday, Sony interactive entertainment E3 2018 before the new announcement will be transferred. The first leg of this plan was Tetris. You can take a look at the announcement schedule from tomorrow.
• June 7, 2018 TSI 18:00 – the release date of a Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide studios game will be announced.
- June 8, 2018 TSI 18:00 – a new PlayStation 4 game will be announced.
- June 9, 2018 TSI 18:00 – a new PlayStation VR game will be announced.
- June 10, 2018 TSI 18:00 – the eagerly anticipated game will come to PlayStation VR.
I saw the videos of this, and...I'm not quite sure what I think of it. I love tetris, but it's almost like Sony forgot what makes a tetris game great. They put too much emphasis on the background, and not on the gameplay. Now, if they can put some 4 player competitive tetris into this game, maybe we can see some progress. But as it stands, the background is too busy for the game.
@ddrfr33k Looking at this... Youre right, to much going on in the background. A four player couch mode would be great too. Hope they didnt ruin my childhood.
