# 53 ... and a little more about sketches on paper 2

in #art7 years ago

I will not write much today, I will touch upon some points about which I did not mention in the first рarts. Well, in that case - let's go!
Just want to share my discovery in the use of white and colored pencils. With pencils, I'm somehow not particularly friendly, of course, if I often used them, the situation might have been different, and since I take pencils in my hand very rarely, the result becomes obvious. But still there is one but. Something happened, something is not. Sketch in which I used a white pencil I liked. The sketch itself desires better, but I really liked how the pencil interacted with the craft paper. Here is the sketch itself:

Near it it looks not so impressive, but if you tilt the sketchbook a short distance, changing the angle of view, it looks more interesting. For this sketch I used a white KOH-I-NOOR pencil, on which it is written that it is used for writing on glass, cellophane and metal surfaces. He has a thick, soft core, resembling something between oil and wax, very good for kraft paper. Here is the pencil:

But not a very good example, I was trying to use ordinary colored pencils that turned out to be too rough for crafting, if I used them for a classic craft in which various goods are wrapped-everything would be fine, but I will remind you, In sketchbooks, as a rule, use a special thin craft, ordinary pencils scratch the surface of such paper. If you have a desire to still use these tools, Then under the page, be sure to put something solid, such as a tablet. Here's how to do not need:

And, perhaps, the best tool for sketching, except the rapidogram - That ballpen. I bought myself a dozen inexpensive pens of red and black colors from PIANO MAXRITER, that's how they look:

They are not perfect, but still, they fit pretty well on paper, the only thing I want to draw your attention to is that Kraft absorbs fat and moisture very well, the pen will not write on such contaminated places! In all other aspects, ballpoint pens well perform their function.

If you have any questions, as always write in the comments, I'll try to answer!

Nice work, you have a great style!

The bubble in red. Do you work it up with shading? The translucency is incredible!
