Team #04: Curation Report for Week 02 [May 2025]

Assalamu Alaikum friends. This is the second report on the activity of Team 04 community curators for May using the steemcurator06 account. It's been an amazing week of reading and supporting other writers through different communities and blogs according to our curation guidelines and Steemit rules. Priority was given to authors with quality content, no plagiarism and no use of AI to create content.

Each curator was assigned a particular day this week to support authors who were abiding by the rules. Each curator was supposed to curate at least 20 daily posts and quality comments as they add value to the content. Following the different days of curation, each curator curated an average of at least 20 posts per day. This can be seen in the table below.

For the second week of curation, 168 posts were curated with an average of at least 20 posts per the curator's shift shared among the curators.

For this week, a total of 16 countries were visited by the team with Indonesia topping the list, followed by Bangladesh, Venezuela and Indonesia respectively.

Reason: The author of this post shares her experiences in April and her hopes for May. She mentions that her speedy recovery after ovarian surgery was unexpected. April was a month of rest but she is grateful for the progress of her family and small business. In May, she plans to start the second phase of their chicken farming project and plans to pay off some debts and visit friends. She takes pride in her work as a homemaker and entrepreneur. Reason: The war between Ukraine and russia continues. Once, we (our countries, our grandfathers) fought together against Hitler's troops. The author writes a fictional letter to their grandfather, a World War II veteran, sharing painful reflections on the current war, the loss of shared memory, and the betrayal of those once considered kin. The author sadly recalls how their attitude toward May 9th changed—from childhood fascination with heroic stories to disillusionment with vulgar celebrations and, ultimately, to the realization that Nazism was not defeated but reborn in the aggressive policies of the neighboring country...

I myself only stopped reacting to the German language as the language of the enemy at the age of twenty, though even now it echoes faintly. So what will we say someday about this current war.

Reason: The author of this post shared his experience of visiting Chandrima Udyan (Zia Udyan). He and his family members reached Vijay Sarani station by metro and went to Chandrima Udyan. There they enjoyed the beauty of nature, got wet in the rain, visited Ziaur Rahman's tomb, had a picnic-like meal, took pictures and enjoyed the day by eating local food, fuchka and ice cream. Finally, he ended the day with a tired body and fell asleep. The entire trip was enjoyable and memorable for him.
