Copy and Paste could earn you thousands on Steemit!
Today when I clicked on "trending" articles I got to one posted with a reward that I was awestruck.
From writer zer0hedge:

Article currently earning: $221.90 with 220 upvotes.
zer0hedge was hiding nothing and had a disclaimer ahead of the article and below it that indicates he was not the original writer and all he does is format the articles from zerohedge and posts it on Steemit. For formatting 1 article on zerohedge and posting on Steemit to earn currently my whole entire Steemit account's networth. Count me in!
I thought I was bad enough for thinking of my "altcoin marathon" idea. Not to digress too far into it but I wanted to make a collection of posts that summarizes some of the most popular coins I have seen on the internet. I found no place that provides this service. In any regards it still takes time out of my day to study and read each coin prior to me from writing an "altcoin marathon" article.
But back to this guy or gal zer0hedge. I did a search and @patrice worte a wonderful article regarding zer0hedge

I went to SteemMVP and looked at the account's current stats:

Not much different besides bigger earnings since Patrice's last review. It may likely be that poster bought large sum of upvotes to boost earnings.

On top the account had a withdraw of ~$1017 to bittrex.
This account is basically still operating and earning a boat load. I do not know if the account even pays the real zerohedge in regards to taking their articles. This method of posting other website articles I personally think defeats the purpose of steemit and further robs steemians from earning for original work.
So in conclusion to all who read this. This is a perfect example if you reformat someone else work and make a disclaimer you can earn thousands on steemit! Serious is this insane or what? I must go out in search of doing something similar. Maybe DrudgeReport.com or espn.com. Got to fish for some good content myself and start reformatting their articles. Rags to riches here I come! My dry humor.
I wondered why steemcleaner has not repeatly flag this poster? Here is steemcleaner's usual post about plagiarism.

It looks like the poster followed every rule but I am not sure if a license was posts at the end. Actually poster never comments about the article with own thoughts so he failed on that item. Flag!
