Why not just do your own retreat at home?

Many people think that they need to go to a raw food retreat or a health food institute in order to get back on track with eating healthily. Many times after these experiences of fasting only on raw food for two weeks, they come back home and find themselves right back where they started from, eating the same unhealthy foods.

There are some short-term benefits from doing a cleanse like this for two weeks. However, permanent dietary improvements have the best long-term impacts on your health.

Eliminating harmful foods from your intake permanently, such as refined sugar and processed starches (bread, pastas, etc), is like going on a life-long fast.

Eliminating these foods is the best health insurance available and is far more reaching than eating 100% raw for only two weeks.

This type of action, will most likely keep you off pharmaceutical drugs for the rest of your life, enable you to be extremely active through-out old age, and keep you from becoming senile with dementia or alzheimer's in the long-run.

It's real simple! If you can eliminate everything from your intake, except for the foods that are on the whole foods list at the link here...

You are on a cooked wholefoods diet, and in the long run, God willing, you will end up active, not on pharmaceutical drugs and not senile.

This whole foods list is really easy to succeed on.

One example would be to replace your breakfast with eggs, avocado and goats cheese. For lunch and dinner, other ideas would be to have a salad with a baked potato, yam, brown rice, beans, brown rice pasta, or quinoa. Instead of a sandwich with meat on bread, put the meat in a huge salad. Eat as many salads as you can... Large salads are a huge key in succeeding on eating healthily. All of the raw foods are also obviously acceptable. I use loads of almond butter and avocados as my main satiating foods.

Eating healthily is far more impacting, compared to any other physical thing that you can do, due to the purification process that your body goes through. People have healed from all sorts of diseases, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and so much more from simply improving their dietary lifestyle without doing anything else.

You can literally, sit back on your couch, relax, without exercise or doing anything else, and reach your health and beauty goals, by simply controlling what you put in your mouth.

I know that when it comes down to controlling what you put in your mouth... it is much easier said than done.

When you improve your dietary lifestyle, you are hit with suffering from all angles... the physical, emotional and spiritual...

Physically - we go through detoxification, which is the same thing as going through withdrawals. Just like when a coffee drinker, cigarette smoker, or drug user comes off of it, we go through the same types of withdrawals when we eliminate harmful foods... We'll start hankering for sugar, bread and transfatty acids. On top of hankering for these foods, you can get headaches, shakes, and other uncomfortable physical sensations during this withdrawal process.

Emotionally - one example is that we may associate certain foods with our childhood, which can provide us with a feeling of "comfort". When going through the physical withdrawal process, you might get emotional with a feeling of deprivation. This happens because you can't rely on the sensations anymore that come from eating harmful foods that comforts us, which stops the extremely uncomfortable withdrawal process and provides the really good feeling of becoming stimulated. You just end up sitting there with that shrieking emotional and spiritual energy... Endure and process it... or eat the food, drink the coffee, smoke the cigarette, or do the street drug.

Spiritually - there is some sort of unknown energy that is pressing down upon our weaknesses making it as difficult as possible for us to succeed.

If you can endure through all of this and succeed on your dietary lifestyle, not only will you reach all of your health and beauty goals, but you also can overcome your emotional and spiritual weaknesses.

Many people desire money, fame, power and sex. However, once we die, these things are gone forever...

If we can shift our desires in to being extremely excited about enduring and overcoming all of this physical, emotional and spiritual suffering and chaos that comes along with improving our dietary lifestyle, then the results on our soul may end up being everlasting.
Not only will you receive all of the health, beauty, and energy benefits from eating healthily in the physical world, but you can also spiritually grow at the same time. If you can keep the unhealthy food out of your mouth, you will have the potential to learn all of the in's and out's of your weaknesses and the sufferings that become more enhanced when improving your dietary lifestyle. You may be able to reach the point through enduring and understanding, to where these weaknesses and "sufferings" can't negatively impact you ever again.

Through this shift of our desire, we can actually become excited about experiencing the physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering associated with improving our dietary lifestyle.

When we are going through this suffering, it's exciting because we know that we are going to grow spiritually when we succeed, which results in more spiritual freedom and equates to more life in our own reality.

Certain emotional/spiritual sufferings that you have been experiencing in your being for your entire life has the potential to disappear forever. Furthermore, at the same time you will reach your health and beauty goals.

Most people actually can't physically control what they put in their mouth, due to the suffering they need to endure through in order to succeed.

If you can do this, you are way ahead of the curve, and you will have more health, look younger, look more beautiful, and have more focus and energy compared to 90% of the people your age.

Who cares about these sufferings?

They are simply sensations that we experience in our being. They are something to desire and become excited about, because the results that come with enduring and overcoming them have the potential to be everlasting.

So... Through this shift of desire, we can become excited about these sufferings, which changes our entire perspective and outlook on when we are actually experiencing and going through it. It can provide us the will power and discipline needed in order to succeed.

You don't need to go to a health food institute or a retreat center in order to get back on track. It's time to go within... and...

let go and move on from our childhood woes, stand up, and take control over our own reality.
