Loosing Faith in Steemit
Unsure if its the over whelming influx of new Steemit patrons, or if Steemit has just missed a crucial element of the platform. I do know this, of all the post's I have contributed on all of my users...I can NOT gain exposure.
Now, for myself, this is not a big deal (so to speak), however. With so many quality writers and creators entering Steemit, it would appear to me, that there is something missing to allow quality to rise above.
What are your thoughts?
The censorship problem still has not been addressed. only ignored.
People want a freespeech platform not a site where one butthurt whale can kill an account for no reason.

Ya I don't really think your ideal audience for sexy pix is on steemit.
For me, it has been expectations and the reality that follows.
I keep my expectations simple. A Zen outlook.
And then I see a post that is so obviously obtuce, I wonder about the spiral downward of basic ethics on Steem.it.
"No, you did not just paint "Starry night."
"Yes, that is a wonderful photograph, it won a Pulitzer Prize before you were born."
"You are a wonderful writer Mr. Hemingway, happy you are back from the dead."
I paint with some success for recognition, the rest of the time I should just push away from my desk and go outside more.

It's hard. Perhaps it's harder than before. But I'm here since June and my rep is almost 55 and I'm doing ok I guess.
Just keep posting quality content. It will get noticed eventually. Can't expect to move up with spammy posts like I see so many people post... (not saying that you do, I haven't looked at your feed).
And another pro-tip... interact with people and try to build connections. It's your following
