🔹 MY ART - face sculpturing - process
Hi friends, I am preparing for a new mixed media collage, so the first step was to sculpture face. I used air-drying ceramic moddeling clay.
The process
🔹 I used glass mask I made few years ago. It is broken on one side, so I use it just for sculpturing.
It took 3 hours to make this face. After drying I will place it on a canvas on a frame. The collage will look similar to this, but it will be in purple shades.
Thanks for watching!

congratulations very good work wi!!
Wow this looks great. how much time did you spend on the mask?
Amazing work and I love the process. As an artist process is so important to me. I cant wait to see the finished piece.
I so agree! The process can really involve you to the point where the enjoyment and satisfaction of the various stages give on to a let-down when you're done because there's nothing more to work on... Well, until you realize that you have a new inspiration to start. 😉
It sometimes seems rude to ask those who are working but I really love seeing the progress leading to the finished peice. It gives another layer to a piece that you love.
congratulations,
Hello, greetings from Colombia, I'm following you and giving like, I would like to see me and support me, thank you

wow, super! I've never used the air-drying ceramic moddeling clay, just "traditional" ceramic modelling clay (terracotta), but I have to try it ^^
thank you! it is easier with this air-dry clay because I dont have a furnance, but when you work with it, it feels like normal clay :)
there are more types of this air-dry clays. some of them has small paper fibers inside and they are not as good. I use only that type on a photo now and Im really satisfied :)
very crative how to make a mask .. really interesting art
Great skills ! You should sell some of your work for steem/sbd <3
thanks, but Im not sure how.. and if anyone would buy it...
Just sending via post office ^^ Although I'm not sure how much you would want for that art. It looks unique and I think most can't afford it.
Best of wishes <3
shipping would be high.. and as you wrote, most people cant afford it..and most people who can afford it here dont care :)
