THE STEEMIT JOURNEY

Hello steemit community. I am to share to you my experiences here on steemit. As you read, you may be a newbie who doesn’t know the what’s and how’s of this community site. Or you may be a pro who is now having much reputation or influence. But no matter who you are or what you are, you can surely relate to this journey.
There will be five questions that I will be going to share to you. Hold your breath (Hahaha, just kiddin’), and make sure not to miss a single word as you read.

First things first,

#1. How did you find/know steemit?

In one of the offices of our school, while everyone is busy preparing for our financial statements and other daily operations, one girl spoke, “Hoy, register ta ninyo ug steemit, si ***** nindot kaayog na benefit sa steemit”. She means that we should register on steemit because she knew someone who have benefited from this site. And we are like

And then she encourage us, and the story goes on, all of us, then created an account on steemit. And I would like to thank @hennessyocier and her boyfriend, @raphael for the great help.

#2. How’s your start?

At first, I really cannot understand how it works. Curation? Upvotes? Resteem? These words are not registered in my vocabulary.

So, I have made some research about it, and have just figured out that some of my old friends have also been into steemit and one of them is @josephfugata

#3. What keeps you going?

As I write blogs and appreciate also the works of other, I have figured out that I also like steeming.

Sharing your thoughts about something, your experience or your skills, but most of all, sharing God’s word. My existence here is mainly to share the word of God, and my experiences why I have come up with this agenda. I have just attended an encounter with God retreat, and that changes everything. So sharing His words keeps me going.

#4. What is/was your first goal for your payout?

My first goal is to buy a Mac for ministry use.

If allowed, I want to buy a mac, so that we can have something to use in our church for the multimedia team. I have been part of the multimedia team for more than years and we have a hard time of storing files, because we’re using different laptops.

#5. What do you think will happen to you next year, same date?

I can say that I am still steeming and influencing more people to engage in this community and having a lot my friends also doing steemit.
