Anxiety, step by step
Source
There is a topic that I have wanted to touch on for a long time, and it is Anxiety, a word that many of us are somewhat familiar with, or simply a part of our life or that of someone close to us.
To talk about statistics of this disorder is varied in each country, but without being low, it is one of the problems that attacks people the most, being more prevalent among women.
Anxiety is defined as an extreme state of excitement accompanied by great restlessness and a head full of questions and worries that in some cases have no reason to exist.
But, where anxiety comes from, it is seen in many countries as a public health problem, psychological disorders, other hormonal, work, even to do nothing, but the most important reason is the excessive concern for the future or what is to live in the short and medium term, such as going out, dawn, going to work, parties and others, but perhaps the one that most attacks women is generated by climacteric processes and menopause (the complete cessation of the period).
There are also many more associated with physical, psychological, neurological diseases, etc., which makes us see that anxiety does not have a UNIQUE reason for its origin.
We can have short processes of anxieties generated by medicines or situations that present themselves momentarily, as well as those that last for many years, limiting to a considerable degree the person who suffers from it in this way.
Having anxiety is given with a set of signs and symptoms that makes us easy to diagnose but also being responsible should be a psychologist or psychiatrist who can diagnose this.
Signs and symptoms
*- Palpitations (tachycardia, extrasystoles, bradycardia)
*- Sweating
*- Concerns
*- Tremor
*- Chest pain (phantom)
*- Feeling of agitation
*- Nervousness
*- Irregular breathing
*- Fatigue and decay
*- Suicidal thoughts
*- Fatalistic thoughts
*- Feeling that something is going to happen to him or to his family or friends
*- High stress levels
*- Sleeping a lot or difficulty sleeping
*- Putting your whole life aside
*- Isolation from friendships
*- Many times, when many of these come together, because the PANIC
Of these symptoms, it should be said that it varies in some people, emphasizing that we are individuals and this type of disorder is accompanied by personal labels.
What should we do?
1.- Start relaxation therapies, learn to breathe to tell your brain that all is well.
2.- Do exercises to identify objects in your environment, for example, if you see a light bulb ask yourself what it is for and then look for another use (such as making a small vase when it burns).
3.- Attend a therapist in order to be able to channel
4.- Walk, exercise, exercising releases hormones that are necessary to smile and be happy.
5.- Try as much as possible not to think about what may happen, spend this time singing or reading.
6.- Seek out activities that are relaxing, painting, creating, making, etc.
7.- Get enough sleep (if not, you can apply relaxation techniques).
8.- As far as possible, a healthy diet.
9.- Zero alcohol, coffee, soft drinks and any food that can excite your body.
10.- When you feel a crisis starting talk to someone, but not about your crisis, talk about another topic you enjoy or a board game.
11.- Find your "comfort zone" is that place where you close your eyes and sit where you get that peace, that tranquility and it is super functional.
12.- And all that you can experience and that at the time you achieved positive results.
Now on the other hand if you are a person who lives with someone who suffers from anxiety, understand her, she does not want to be like that, it is something that is not in her to stop it without help. Do not judge her.
Talk to her, hug her, help her.
Many fall into the comparison of others, and say that it is God's punishment, or even more to say that if you believe in God this should not happen to you, NO, there are processes that trigger these episodes and it is a disease that can be treated and cured.
I hope this small contribution can be applied to you or someone in your environment.
See you next time
Most times I always wonder whether anxiety is a good thing or a bad thing and also most times I always wonder whether a human being can do by avoiding anxiety?
