The Dudes and their Rope: November 9 2019
Another beautiful day in San Diego. Perfect for the dudes to come over and have some free range kids time.
Here, they are contemplating how to best tie up the tree. Dude one has been in love with strings and ropes and anything that can be wrapped around and tied up on things. His rope mazes can get quite elaborate.
Even his eight going on thirteen years old bad self gets still excited about a big ball of string. Otherwise, he already has the teenage attitude down. Hope he gets it out of his system before he becomes one. (A person can hope, right?)
The mastermind was pulling the strings - literally. While the underlings had to hold the rope.
After some climbing of trees, some cutting of other branches and back and forth, the little dudes got a bit tired of their supporting role in this game.
They staged a mutiny and went off to do some digging. Who knew that there were such wonderful artifacts to be found right here in a San Diego backyard. We were shown a T-Rex tooth, several dinosaur bones, part of a dinosaur egg, and assorted other finds.
We are dudess and her mom who came to pick up dude three. But of course, I was holding the baby and couldn't take any pictures. I do have a picture of Gia who decided to stay far away from dudes with ropes. I wonder why?
And yes, there are lots of shoes on the porch. We try not to wear shoes in the house and they just end up on the porch - multiple pairs LOL
