A Random Experience; art and a quick test on how to tell Drama Queens! - by @mariandavp
I have discovered the ultimate Drama Queen test. Really!!
And I am going to share it with you for free, because I feel really generous today. I want to save the world from eternal misunderstandings. I have managed to drain the essence of being a drama drama drama lover into one simple question;
Do you believe in fate?
You could replace fate with destiny, it doesn't matter. The question is does this person you are talking to really believe certain things are meant to happen?
If the answer is yes, you got yourself a drama queen.
You see, drama queens deep down inside believe that they are starring in some kind of film. The role is already written by a devious writer and all they are expected to do is play it out. They are the victims of situations, they don't write their own lines.
When they meet someone and fall in love, they believe it was meant to be. When they break up with this someone, they really make you think they are going to end up depressive alcoholics that will eventually kill themselves, but in the end it's you who ends up drinking the drama out, while they meet the next someone else who is meant to be. And the previous one, who was meant to be the one but then he/she wasn't, will become a meant to be ex who prepares them for the next love, the true one. Rings a bell?
Of course, drama queens are not exclusive to romantic comedies (tragedies) only. They star in family dramas (mothers, fathers, children, brothers, you name it), or in legal thrillers (find me a lawyer who is not a drama queen) and lately they have promoted themselves into the outcasts of society since Joker made it sort of OK to become a villain because damn, life is so unfair to some of us.
Why did this have to happen to me? they ask in despair...
...and the answer is would you rather if it was someone else in your place? Because frankly my dear, shit happens to everyone. As great things do too, and the best we can do for ourselves is enjoy every good moment as a random experience. As a rare strike of luck, that will not last forever, but its memory will give us strength to cope with the less positive random experiences to come.
Maybe there is this thing called destiny, but are we meant to know it?
This is another office-art type of artwork using colored pilot pens and markers. I call it Random Experience.
The following photo is from the making of, before I used blue color. I think I might like it more blue-less.

Ahhh drama drama drama 😍😍😍
We were destined to meet @tikotiko
Fate and destiny led me to the path that ended up in making this comment. It was all written from my birth, lol. I think we all have our drama queen moments when we try to blame a higher power for our misfortune or give it credit for our success to feel as if we are very important. But common sense prevails and at some point we understand that life is what it is and things happen, good or bad.
I like the artwork, it has a lot of symbolism and i must say i prefer the blue-full version:)
It was meant to be an autobiography, really! lol
All artists have drama queen moments @georgeboya, but it seems to me you would never let it out of control :) Since common sense prevails at some moment... means you have quite a lot of it!
Not so much as my self confident and wise comment suggests, just a little:)
Having experienced deja vu, I know that not only are some things meant to happen - but some things are meant to happen more than once! (or eternally?)
OMG! When does it stop?! 🤔😃
I'm sorry to have to break it to you, and I'll try to do it gently, but - not until the Fat Lady sings.
Not sure how to react to the news 😂
Who is the Fat Lady, and why do we have to wait for her to sing before it's all over?
The story I heard was that Al Capone became much enamoured of opera, swotting up with scores, records, and even tutors, until he regarded himself sufficiently au fait to sample the real thing. Accompanied by two bodyguards, he took his seat at the opera house. After the first aria, the goons rose to leave, whereupon Al grabbed them by their coattails: "Siddown," he growled, "it ain't over till the fat lady sings".
