Interestingly, carnation is also called a "divine flower" because its name comes from the Greek dios (Zeus) and anthos (color). It is also a joke that this is the favorite flower of the god of thunder.

Carnation is a perennial plant. There are light green leaves with a slight grayish tinge. Its colors are bright and spectacular - from pink, purple and red to colorful blends of white and cyclamen or white and purple. Carnation blooms all summer. Used as a curb plant, for a rock garden or for a beautiful balcony.
