[CO] ART OF LIGHT: Glow of Lanterns

During my visit to Kyoto, Japan, on one of the dark cool still September night, my friends and I brought our paper lanterns of different colours to the street by the river and lighted each lantern with candle sticks that was placed in the middle of each lantern. When they were all lighted up, and the lanterns were expanded, the glow from the lanterns brought us much joy. Thanks to the light of the candles, we could see a beautiful and peaceful sight of orange, pink, red and yellow glows floating, each held by a stick that was held by us.

This shot was taken using my old Canon Digital IXUS 970 IS, with F number 3.2 and Exposure time: 1/125.

This is my first entry to @ntopaz's Visual Art Contest: ART OF LIGHT.
