Promotional Activities for the week |10% to steem-alive

On Tuesday, the 21^st day of December 2021 was another opportunity to promote steemit to an audience that is made up of my students. The topic for the day was Cryptography and Information Security. My plan was to sale Steemit to my students with the goal of having a few joining the platform.

Preparation

• Material
  I had my points developed on a PowerPoint slide with simple animations and transition effects, hoping to pass the message without obscuring it in too much slide effects.
• Dressing
  A simple Steemit Crypto academy T-shirt was my choice as it would send the desired massage to my audience.

Equipments

The class needed a laptop, a projector and a screen but I had a few fliers to help carry the steemit massage. While those in attendance would get the direct message, the flyer would take the message to people who were not present.

Delivery

Cryptography being a branch of cryptology interested in developing and application of techniques aimed at protecting data and information using different encryption algorithm...
It was easy to bring Steemit into the discussion because steem is a Cryptocurrency and all digital currencies are protected by Cryptography. So I brought in steem as a Cryptocurrency in the area of application, explaining that steem is the easiest cryptocurrency you can have by simply managing a blog on steemit, you earn steem for making high quality posts.

Sign-ups

The results of the Promotion was two sign-ups, which was followed by achievement one post instructions.

@jadis was the second sign up I had and here is his achievement one post which has also been verified.
thanks to the mechanism put in place by steemit, @steemalive and @ngoenyi, it's easy to have the achievement post of new users verified through Achivement post tracking.

Other prospects

There were others who showed interest but could not get registered due to some reasons which I will try to fix at the resumption of classes after the break.

Observation

Some people are still very sceptical about steemit, they feel it could be a scheme that would soon fail. I often tell them that steemit will not make you rich in a few days so if you want to get rich quick, then steemit is not for you. But you can invest, write, post and earn with steemit.

Conclusion

Use every opportunity that comes your way to promote steemit. Your circumstances may give you more opportunities which you can put to good use if you are observant. Promoting steem and steemit is real fun. It's one place you can make funds while having fun.
