Going Nuts, Going Bananas

in #photography5 years ago

Hello, friends!

This is again some kind of a preview, this time of an update I intend to do on my bank of free images that you can use for editorial purposes on the Steem blockchain. Yeah, some of you might remember that I have such a project, over here:

Free Images for Editorial Use on the Steem Blockchain Project

If you need them for other purposes, follow the link to the stock portfolio that I am providing under the images.

But it takes time, concentration, and a reason to continue my project here, so I am asking for your patience. And I think this #newsteem period is suitable for another attempt. But I might need to organize some things first. I might have to think about a new structure. Or not. Tell me what you think! It will help, immensely. Each opinion matters.

For now, let's go preview. Let's go nuts! Let's go bananas!

Nutty and Rejected

Well, of course, I upload those to regular stock sites, too. ShutterStock said this one was too grainy, dusty, noisy, artifactsy, or some such. The algorithm is strange, people are stranger. But the walnut looks ugly...indeed. The full-sized image I mean. Maybe they were right about not enough quality.

What the bloom?

I never suspected it was like that. Now I know.

All right, give me some time and I will post more of those for you to...have the option to use.

Have a good day, week, life and whatnot!

Yours,

Manol

I had never heard of stock photo. Clearly not a photographer. But on a comment for your rejected photo. To me is more a lack of object contrast. Background and object are almost the same color and texture. There is not much more going on, on the picture.
The first nut picture is very good, very to my taste. The bananas picture, has to many things. Hard to focus, hard to find what is relevant.

Thanks for your comment. I agree on both points, actually.

Well, that's the banana bloom...quite different from what people will normally expect from a flower, lol. Sometimes I also wonder if bees do the pollen thing on them, there doesn't seem to be any pollen for them? Lol.

And the shots on the nut are pretty nice (if you don't go and nitpick...) :)

Well, I like the rejected walnut, if they don't want it, I'll take it! Hehehe

My squirrels will shiver when they see that nut my friend Lol
Sounds like a good project.
Blessings!

Very thoughtful of you to put those out there for use. I hope they do get used! Great images.

The one thing the Steem blockchain doesn't really have is a good database system. Have you look into using ntopaz?

I like nuts! Especially cracking them.
