Charms of March #3
Number three of the series.
My first article about this Bulgarian custom was something more extensive and you can read about it Here. It tells of the custom related to March, its anthropomorphic personification and the charms we give each other - the martenitsa (singular).
I decided to make a collection of martenitsi (plural), posting... well, it was each day in my mind at first but it turned out time runs faster than me. So it's from time to time, instead. Still there's time to gather new wrists full of charms for my collection ;)
Silviya had a lot of martenitsi on her hands. Her students contributed to that:
Having a nice March, right? Good, continue.

Manol

Absolutely and absolutely. Depending on what or whom you're talking about ;)
Yeah, it's a nice tradition - a fellow student from Bulgaria gave me and other students one last year...
Good, so you're in the cult now.
I just love this tradition and your friend sure has a fine collection of martenitsi, must make her feel loved!
