How are you? I hope you guys are doing very well. Yesterday was a Sunday so I had the opportunity to get away from my official life. Because I work six days a week and look forward to Sunday. I love it because Sunday gives me the opportunity to connect with nature. So we took the opportunity to take a walk on a peaceful beach on Sunday evening. Through this I hope to present content on that.

The Midigama beach is about 20 km from our house and is a beautiful peaceful beach. I would like to mention that this beach, which struggles with the waves of the Indian Ocean, is a perfect place to relax your mind. Because a large number of tourists do not stay in this place much. This area has a very good view of the Galle-Matara main road.

But we do not get a chance to enter the coastal area directly on the road. Because there is no suitable place to walk in those places. The road can be seen from a few deep places where the sea waves are mostly visible. A short walk to the main road you will find a beach area suitable for walking and having fun.

It is commendable that the Coast Conservation Department has planted several species of trees of different varieties of green which are well suited to the color blue to enhance the beauty of the sea. These color combinations of nature give a unique beauty.

The weather in the area was perfect for our trip, which made us even happier. So we had the opportunity to cover many areas by walking. Look at the photos above. When the waves come ashore very peacefully, hitting the rocks gives us a beautiful reflection. After hitting the green sea waves on the rocks, you can take a nice look at the whiteness that turns white.

We walked along a small footpath and reached the beach. As we walked we saw that it was actually a beautiful beach. The shade provided by the small trees is indescribable. The feeling of well-being when the sea breeze blows is beautiful.

My feet were scorched by the intense heat of the sea as I set foot on this beautiful beach. But in a short time the feet went cold. The sun was so hot that even the seawater was hot, but the waves kept getting colder and colder.

Mangrove biodiversity can be found throughout the southern coastal region of Sri Lanka. Various types of mangroves could be seen even along the Midigama beach. These highly poisonous thorny mangroves are a great support to coastal conservation.

Various star class lodges have been built throughout the coastal region of Sri Lanka. While visiting Midigama, I came across several such lodges. At a time when the tourism industry is collapsing with the expansion of the Rona, even tourist hoteliers are in dire straits. Prior to the Corona epidemic, both local and foreign tourists visited these beaches. But nowadays foreign tourists can’t even see local tourists anyway.

Many people in this area also make a living by engaging in fishing. The people of this area use modern fishing methods as well as traditional fishing methods.

We spent about two hours very freely, peacefully having fun and never even realizing that night was approaching. We were lucky to see the beautiful view of the sun trying to hide from the sky above.

The reflection given on the sea water by the rays of the beautiful moment when the sun is hiding among the clouds in the western sky is very beautiful. There are times when you even feel like waiting for the golden rays to fall on the dark waves. The sunset views add to the beauty of the environment. If you want to see such beautiful scenery, you must go to a beach or a mountain top.

We decided to say goodbye to the Midigama beach after hiding in the golden clouds. The experience of staying there for about two beautiful hours was endless. There is no other experience that is so beautiful, especially when it comes to peace of mind and peace of mind. I say goodbye for now, hoping to meet again on a similar journey. Have a nice day.
