YOUR POST HAS NO GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO BE SEEN UNLESS YOU HAVE INVESTED CASH IN STEEM

I see a lot of people complaining that the post they have put lots of effort into has not been seen, and how "bid bots" are ruining steemit, in actual fact i tend to agree with that last statement..

But the truth is unless you have personaly invested money in steem and powered up your account - no matter how much effort you have put in or how good you think your post is, you have no right to be seen.. If your post is of exceptional content and you use the right tags the - original "proof of brain" concept should at least get your post seen somewhat.

If you have not invested any of your own money into steem then technically steem and the community owes you nothing.

If you have invested money and powered up then you ARE owed something, and it is granted for you to use yourself how you choose via Voting power - be it sharing upvotes with others, self upvoting , or flagging content - you paid for or earnt this power and its your choice!

You can also pay to be seen via the use of "upvote bots"

This is the reality of steem and steemit. Feel your posts are not seen enough? want more views and upvotes? then invest in the platform with your own cash and it will be granted should you choose.

The naked truth is that the ones who are complaining are the ones who did not invest not even one penny but are expecting to get rich over night!

I think this is a major problem with steemit, i see many new posts in the "introduce yourself" section - but i do wonder how many actually invest in steem.

Hey @madstacks

Great post. Thanks for posting.

Actually, you and a few others have inspired me to write a new post and I've linked your 'no god given right' post to it.

I hope you like it.

Another quality post Gaz, nice one:)

Cheers bud. All inspired by those three posts that I read today :)

That's a crock and directly in conflict with the whole premise of the site.

NO ONE IS OWED ANYTHING. PERIOD.

If you think otherwise, then you're advocating for pay to play.

Imm not advocating pay to play, but the site IS pay to play...

when was the last time a new member who just signed up to steemit, wrote an exceptional article and made trending? It does not happen..why? because steemit is pay to play. You either pay upvote bots, or you buy steem and powerup your account, either way you pay.

Likewise if you power up your account you are owed a higher personal voting weight, thats a fact! everyone who has powered up is owed something and you get it in the form of vote weight..

I agree with @georgemales.. Although I did not put any of my own money in Steemit either.. But I did put some of my earnings in Steemit ;) I simply did not have the cash to start with a nice amount of power.. But I do feel its important to keep a part of the earnings in the system.. I tried a few bid bots but its not for me.. I will work harder to get noticed instead :)

I totally agree... That's why I totally accept whatever low or high the upovtes my posts get, I get disappointed when I write a really good post and it gains nothing but I know that it doesn't have to.

I even agree that bid bots are ruining steem, but I don't see other alternative for now so I use them once in a while. Here I'm waiting for a system that fixes steemit flaws.

I wish there were better filters, it will help so much if we can search for posts that contain 2 tags at the same time, or contains a tag but don't contain the other.
