Manual attempt round 2

These posts are documenting my very first attempts at manual settings on the DSLR, I have only used auto till now.

The clouds mostly cleared so I went out for another attempt at the stars..and compared to the first attempt this is soo much better! im in a light polluted area too so i cant wait to get out to a dark skies sight.

Really chuffed:) took a lot but all the others ended up blurry,

4 seconds
f/1.8
800 ISO

Some colours dont look quite right here specifically the pink, anyone know why that has happened?

I like this photo. You might need to do some editing afterwards to get color correction, but for leaning how to use a camera on manual, you did pretty great.

Cheers Rishi, i did not think about editing afterwards so will have a play about with that:) I kinda think stars might be easy to do manual - just for the reason that they will only really work on certain settings, manual settings for daytime could be harder! but what im trying to do is focus on one thing at a time. First I am learning about apeture, when to use larger or smaller and what it does. Its already amazing what a difference it can make! had no idea it effected background blur
