My quest for free crypto! Can I smoke for free???
Hi Steemit Friends! Happy Thursday :D
Have I mentioned yet that I don't quite "get" crypto, and the real reason I got started on Steemit was to be able to invest in some sort of coin without actually having to risk dollars? Well there it is. The ugly truth. I'm not 100% sold on this whole crypto-craze but as someone who suffers from FOMO, I had to get in some how!
Before you unfollow and flag me - I really have enjoyed this blog space, meeting new friends (especially in person!) and having a platform to share what I think are post-worthy aspects of my life. I'm not here JUST for the financial gains (you can tell from my wallet, LOL) but I do want to share with you cannabis lovers out there another way to earn potentially valuable coins for FREE! Well, free if you count trading access to all your information, text messages, emails, and whatever else is out there for people to use. Sharing on Facebook = invasion of your entire life but since its already happened, who cares now? It's not like you can take it back, lol. You've already seen the targeted ads and Trump is still president. Moving on....
So, similar to Steemit - the Smoke.Network is a blog space for all things cannabis related. I like their tag line - Smoke. Get Paid. Repeat! But really, you're earning crypto for blogging. I'm not sure how far this will go, I mean honestly - I can only see so many grow houses, people lighting bongs and holding joints by their boobs before I get bored. Will it have any positive content? Anything to give back to the community? Anything actually worth reading, or just another black hole to waste your time after you've smoked too much and got couch locked? I don't know, and I don't care to spend time or brain power to decipher and predict but....go to this site and there are ways to earn free Smoke Coins https://smoke.network/ you know, JUST IN CASE it becomes popular! I've got 20 Smoke Coins so far, and I'll earn another 10 after this post. I guess this might turn into a way to smoke for free....

You can sign up now, but you'll have to wait your turn to actually be able to do anything on the platform. The site for it is a mock up of what it may look like in the future. Again - too much of the same shit, or a cool way to see only cannabis related content?

it really does! i killed every plant i touched back in NYC. here, i dont have to do anything and the plants and garden thrive on their own. i love it!!!
I don't smoke although I was contemplating growing cash crops at one stage. Sticking to Steemit, though. Still getting used to looking at indica plants. Here, sativa grows naturally and I am more used to those leaves. Indica is being grown more and more, though
Personally I like indica better. I am an anxious person, so sativas arent the best for that. Its risky as a cash crop, to be honest. The plants I posted are just for personal use. Hopefully :D Still got a few more months to go.

Plants look great! ANd smoke network seems cool but like you said it will get boring real quick. I like to mix it up with my post between my family and grow. Sometimes even try to do something funny. I also want all different types of people to see my grow. Lots of people smoke the herb but do not want to be on a full time herb network. So ill be stickin to steemit.
Me too - Steemit for sure, but I cant help but go back daily and click on the little blue buttons to earn free smoke coins LOL. I wonder if this is how people felt in the 90s. Do I invest in AOL or Netscape or any of the other 1000 internet providers that just came out? I cant afford to put a lot of cash in it (mines stuck in the traditional stock market where i can at least half way understand whats happening) so at least I feel better about having a few free ones wherever I can get em. Maybe someday Ill have $100 in free crypto LOL. But it all adds up in the end. I hope.

youve got a few months still to earn free smokes. i think the ICO comes out in Q3. Could be a total waste of time, but it takes me literally 45 seconds to click on the boxes and claim my free smokes every day. Im not doing the really involved ones where you have to sign up for new platforms just to leave a comment. and hey, maybe ill win a free sweatshirt along the way hahaha.

No, Im earning smoke coins that will work similar to Steem Power for when their platform launches. Its basically the same thing as Steemit - earn smoke for content and the more smoke you have, the more powerful your votes are. Sorry to hear about your funds! I have no idea what the rest of the sentence means, though, lmao.
