The memorial: A lifesaving event
It's the season for the long awaited event! And we are all invited!
An event that should be the most important to everyone's life, an event that is very important in the lives of more than 8 million people that they also want others to view it as important., Millions of people will gather one day for this particular event

The event
It is the memorial of Jesus Christ's death, or we can call it the lord's evening meal which was instigated by Jesus for a purpose. And according to Luke 22:19 Jesus said to keep doing this to remember his death and the reason he died.
The importance of this event
Most people wonder why Jesus who was the son of God died, the reason is to save us from sin and death and to give us the prospect of living forever again and for our sins to be forgiven. To learn more about why Jesus died you can click the link to the video below entitled "why did Jesus die":
Jesus made the invitation to this event himself according to that scripture at Luke 22:19 where he says that we should keep remembering his death.
Attending this special event will help us to appreciate more of what Jesus did for us and how to put faith in him.
How is it commemorated?
Just like the anniversary of any other thing like wedding, the anniversary or the commemoration of Jesus death is done once every year during the time that corresponds to Nisan 14 after sunset.
During the memorial which starts with a song and prayer, the memorial talk is given which explains the importance of Jesus death and the importance of the evening meal, Also a meal like the one Jesus served during the evening meal will be served and those who are eligible will partake of it.
The meal is called an emblem, the bread is without leaven or any added ingredients and the wine is a plain red wine not a sweetened, fortified or spiced wine following the model Jesus gave.
When will it be held this year?
This year this special event will be held on the 14 of April.
Who are invited?
The invitation to attend this special event is open to everyone.
