These are indisputably violets, in name and in fact, with their splendid, characteristic colour, I personally really like purple, as a colour, every now and then I even bought some items, an old episode comes to mind, dating back more than ten years ago, relating to this specific colour...

I was still working in my sector, which I have now almost forgotten, that of sporting goods, with specific reference to the world of running, I have always been a technician, before being a trader, so I professionally recommended what in my opinion was needed by the customer who came to visit me in the shop...

Let's get to the bad incident, one day a customer came to me, it wasn't the first time he came to buy running shoes from me, I could have defined him as a good customer, who listened to what I told him because, like several other customers, he trusted my advice, there are pairings, customer-shoe, which for me were clear, in the sense that for that specific customer that particular shoe was good, the same can be said for this boy, for whom I thought that a model from Asics, a well-known brand of technical running shoes, was perfect for him, but there was a problem, of no small importance, linked precisely to the colour of this shoe...

As he slipped the shoe in question onto his feet, he immediately agreed with me that it felt perfect, that it seemed almost tailor-made for his foot, but he immediately rushed to ask me if there was also another color variant...

Even though it was not a fashionable sports shoe, for several years now companies had been using the method of producing color variants for the most successful models, but that was a particular shoe, with fairly selective construction characteristics, so for a foot, for a person with a similar support on the ground to his, it was very suitable, but there was also a problem, which had already been highlighted on other occasions with other customers, of the color of the upper of that shoe, even though it was not an aspect of fundamental importance, the color was in any case a variable to take into consideration...

Queste sono indiscutibilmente delle viole, di nome e di fatto, con il loro splendido, caratteristico colore, a me personalmente il viola piace tantissimo, come colore, ogni tanto qualche capo l'ho pure comprato, mi viene in mente un vecchio episodio, ormai datato più di una decina di anni fa, relativo a questo specifico colore...

Ero ancora operativo nel mio settore, che ormai ho quasi dimenticato, quello degli articoli sportivi, con specifico riferimento al mondo del running, sono sempre stato un tecnico, prima che un commerciante, per cui consigliavo con professionalità quello che secondo il mio parere serviva al cliente che mi veniva a trovare in negozio...

Arriviamo al fattaccio, un giorno mi arriva un cliente, non era la prima volta che veniva a comprare le scarpe da correre da me, lo avrei potuto definire come un buon cliente, che ascoltava quello che gli diceva in quanto, come diversi altri clienti, si fidava dei miei consigli, ci sono delle accoppiate, cliente-scarpa, che per me erano chiare, nel senso che per quello specifico cliente andava bene quella determinata scarpa, lo stesso dicasi per questo ragazzo, per il quale trovavo che un modello dell'Asics, nota marca di scarpe tecniche da running, era giustissimo per lui, ma c'era un problema, di non poco conto, legato appunto al colore di questa calzatura...

Come aveva infilato la scarpa in questione nei piedi, aveva concordato subito con me che se la sentiva perfettamente, che sembrava quasi costruita su misura del suo piede, ma si era subito affrettato a chiedermi se ci fosse anche un'altra variante di colore...

Pur non essendo una scarpa sportiva di moda, da diversi anni era ormai in uso tra le aziende la modalità di produrre delle varianti di colore per i modelli di maggiore successo, ma quella era una calzatura particolare, con delle caratteristiche di costruzioni abbastanza selettive, per cui per un piede, per una persona con un appoggio a terra simile al suo era molto indicata, ma c'era pure un problema, che si era già evidenziato in altre occasioni con altrettanti clienti, di colorazione della tomaia di quella scarpa, pur non essendo un aspetto di fondamentale importanza, il colore era in ogni caso una variabile da tenere in considerazione...
