Complete product name: BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant
BMW has got into the world of artificial intelligence like Siri and Alexa.The German car manufacturer has announced its first Intelligent Personal Assistant on September 6th, 2018 in Paris.
"Hey BMW!" is the phrase that activates the digital voice assistant then your conversation will start. You talk to it just like you do with family, friends or colleagues, or in short - human beings!
This is not your ordinary infotainment device. It is your advisor, car expert and your companion in one but the most important thing to me is it being a car expert as it also serves as security check on the car. You can ask it to check tire pressure and other car settings.
BMW 3 Series cars are the first models to have this Intelligent Personal Assistant which will be debuted on March 2019.

Isn't it gonna be better than Google or Apple car assistant? Actually I used to love the "human" assistant that many BMW car can reach.

The BMW Intelligent Personal Asst is able to report on the general maintenance of the car just by talking to you instead of getting out of the car. Bmw 2019 will be the new generation vehicles will be marketed. Perfect product.

Well, I may not love cars but I love this technological innovation. :D I am actually hoping that this will also be adapted by middle class cars and not just the luxury ones.

Oh yes, the personal assistant alone is very good. I just hope it will be available in middle class cars, not just luxury cars like BMW, in the future.

As technology continues to evolve, yes, I think auto manufacturers need to consider AI assistants on the dashboard.
AI Technolog will be the new standard in modern cars computer dashboard systems. I hope they will work on better speech recognition, navigation and overall infotainment on demand systems.
Well, BMW claims that this Intelligent Personal Assistant has good speech recognition. I just hope this kind of technology is not just for luxury cars like BMW. May it also be made available for at least middle class cars.
