What is the relationship between success and failure?

in #life7 years ago

Helloo Steemetian :)

Do you think, as a majority of people, that success is the opposite of failure? After all, this is exactly what most of us have learned. If someone makes a tremendous effort to go beyond and achieve a goal, but fails to do so, has he failed?
Well, it all depends on his (and yours) concept of success and failure. For some, only the outcome is what determines whether we belong to the circle of winners or losers. If life was binary, maybe we could afford to have that mindset. But that's not how life works.

Life has a learning curve.

Have you ever seen a baby learn to walk without ever falling? I do not think, for the simple reason that falling is part of the learning process. In other words, this means that any success will be preceded by a series of attempts that will not produce the expected results. So it is wise to develop a healthy and deep respect for the learning process and not just the end result . Learning, as such, is a success.
.

Learning is a success.

Every time we learn from our efforts and our mistakes, we are succeeding. Every lesson that brings us closer to our expected result is a success. This is why qualifying the learning process of failure is not only inaccurate, but it is also emotionally discouraging.

I did not fail. I just found 10,000 ways that do not work - Thomas Edison

If we give ourselves the right to discourage ourselves during the learning process, we will not achieve our goal. Do not you think it would be sad to go through the learning curve and never take advantage of the benefits of our new knowledge?

Thanks for this article ! well said about success and motivation !!

Good job with this post!.. upped! :D

There is always a tin line between success and failure. If only we don't get discouraged by previous failures, then success is sure. Thanks for sharing this @machhour.

Great post. Failing must be a learning experience. Learning isn't really learning, though, unless you put that new knowledge to action. Act, fail, learn, act again. Success is definitely a struggle. Thanks for the great words.
