I went on a beautiful walk today...
Farthest I've gone yet! There won't be as much commentary because it's movie night and our family is watching "Karate Kid" the one from 1984 hahaha. I can get my boys to watch anything from my childhood and they always love it. I guess movies were pretty good in the 80's. I used to bloody hate the movies my parents would try and get me to watch from their childhoods, maybe it's because they were black and white? Okay, without further ado...here's the pics from my walk today...

Someone called my name from a balcony, I look over and it's a friend, never knew where they lived until today, Lisa and her 17 year old kitty!

I found a few gardens too!

"Fresh air and fitness"...what a wonderful motto. I love it....this might inspire me to get off my rear end join the walkwithme movement (is it a movement yet? When does something become a movement? Is it based upon time or the number of people or how loud people scream? Questions for another day).
I love the tabby...cats are my fav...I had two tabbys over the years...typical red heads, into everything.

I live in Florida for a reason...when the temp drops below 60, I am squawking like that chicken you mentioned in the other post.
Homey doesnt do the cold.....kind of embarrassing at the nude beach when it is cold but that is another story entirely. :)

Just started walking dog-face around the neighborhood, it's definitely not as scenic, but the hills are going to help me get into better shape :D

I guess what I'm really saying is I don't know what exactly to photograph... Probably would create an awkward situation to photograph everyone's home, especially in a heavily armed part of the nation XD

What's the temperature up there this time of year?
It's still summer temperatures here Winston, and will be until the end of October, our area of Nova Scotia has a very prolonged summer :) :) And there are some parts where the boats never leave the water, the lobster fishermen work all year around <3 <3 <3
I figured the work-boats were probably in year-round. It was the sailboats that surprised me. Glad to hear it's warmer up there than expected. Us Americans assume that it's just frozen tundra as soon as you cross the border, eh, don't you know?
Hhaa oooh yeah I understand. We're lucky because we are coastal and south. A lot of places in Canada are already experiencing frost and the like.
I'm sure the sailboats will be starting to come out soon, I will keep you posted for sure!
Thanks for the walk around your great looking neighbourhood. The photo below is of my favorite beach - Ramsgate Beach just down the road from where I stay. I love taking walks on the beach and to the whale viewing deck on the hill above.
