Let me introduce myself....

Hello Everyone !

I am now officially, a steemitian.(or whatever the term is).
I have never written anything like this before, so here we go...It's all very exciting !

I may talk more about my traveling adventures at some point in the future, but that isn't really why I am here, to be honest.
I can assure you my name isn't Patriot Wargamer - that would be just weird.....It is, however, the name I will be using on all my posts.
As you can see from the verification photo, sign writing isn't my biggest talent in life.
(but I can construct and paint a decent American Civil War cottage, with stone wall ).

I know nothing of crypto currencies, or even steemit currency, and the way it works exactly.
I definitely feel like the old (possible not so wise) dude on here!
I will be learning as I write, and hopefully make some dosh.

About Me
Independent, self motivated, focused, serious mostly, crazy sometimes, kinda Guy.- I can be so laid back as to be horizontal.
I am extremely focused when I decide to do something.
(I had my own car washing business, and 2 employees when I was 15).

I left school, and got a job. Became 'very successful', very young, and walked away from it all (at 22) to travel the world, - for 25 years, as it turned out.

I was lucky in realizing what money is, and isn't - early on in life.

I worked myself around the world (I only had a few pounds in my pocket, when I set off) doing any kind of job available, along the way- from cleaning nightclubs in Greece (not recommended), to picking fruits in Australia, to managing a backpackers hostel in Hollywood, to marketing and promoting a 'girly' nightclub in Hong Kong, to motorbike courier in Ireland - and others besides -which do not belong on these pages.
Elsewhere, sometime, maybe....

I have now traveled, and worked on 4 continents, over the last 25 yrs - and it has been an amazing, mad, brilliant, scary, beautiful, roller coaster ride, of a life(time).
Truly, truly, amazing.
I am currently leading a chilled out life, in SE Asia, where I hope to be, for a nice long time...
That, my fellow steemitians, is the ' bare bones' of my background. My story to date.

Serious, by nature - but you wouldn't guess that from the years of hedonism I lived!

Shallow as a puddle, and as deep as the Mariana trench, in a heartbeat , that's me!
I am not schizophrenic, just very enthusiastic about everything!

The 'get up and go' travel bug, has definitely 'got up and gone' ,over the years, and I am now more than content living here in, on the 'periphery' of a jungle,with my gorgeous girlfriend, Lucy.
Lucy is a textile designer by profession and has an artistic eye. (it's not a medical condition, it's a perspective.)
We have 2 geckos, guarding our front porch. Godzilla, and Mini Godzilla. They are big, for geckos.(strangely living together, which is very weird)
Occasionally a Malayan pit viper comes slithering around, which can be a little disconcerting- especially at night.
A bite off one of those beauties, is definitely not recommended !
I wake up, and go to sleep, with the sounds of the jungle.... Bliss.
