Elizabeth Blackwell was a doctor I have to mention right at the beginning. I think it's great when professionals say such critical sentences. The lady lives in England and Scotland in the middle of the century.
In addition to her achievements in women's studies, Ms. Blackwell pioneered preventive medicine and health policy.

Her whole family seems to think outside the box, because her brother, Mr Henry Blackwell and his wife Lucy Stone, were also very active in favour of abolishing slavery.

And I agree with her statement, even though I am not a doctor. I think that the normal school is not able to promote the individual talents and abilities of a person. Hardly possible with overcrowded classes or overstrained teachers. Even if the teacher wants to create something good, he fails because of the educational system. This is not due to the teacher himself, it is due to the educational system, which still too often teaches outdated views and does not develop itself fast enough. Thus it undermines people's ability to develop themselves. It limits the creative power of young geniuses. Unless you have a private teacher or go to an expensive private school. Sometimes there are other possibilities. But the norm and majority of people are held back in their healthy development.

A Elizabeth Blackwell era uma médica que tenho de mencionar logo no início. Eu acho ótimo quando profissionais dizem frases tão críticas. A senhora vive na Inglaterra e na Escócia em meados do século.
Além de suas conquistas em estudos femininos, Blackwell foi pioneira em medicina preventiva e política de saúde.

Toda a sua família parece pensar de forma diferente, porque o seu irmão, Henry Blackwell e a sua mulher Lucy Stone, também foram muito activos a favor da abolição da escravatura.

E concordo com a sua declaração, embora não seja médico. Penso que a escola normal não é capaz de promover os talentos e capacidades individuais de uma pessoa. Dificilmente possível com turmas superlotadas ou professores sobrecarregados. Mesmo que o professor queira criar algo bom, ele falha por causa do sistema educacional. Isto não é devido ao próprio professor, é devido ao sistema educacional, que ainda muitas vezes ensina opiniões ultrapassadas e não se desenvolve rápido o suficiente. Assim, ele mina a capacidade das pessoas para se desenvolverem. Limita o poder criativo dos jovens gênios. A menos que você tenha um professor particular ou vá para uma escola privada cara. Às vezes há outras possibilidades. Mas a norma e a maioria das pessoas são retidas no seu desenvolvimento saudável.

Elizabeth Blackwell war Ärztin habe ich gleich zu Anfang zu erwähnen. Ich finde es klasse, wenn Profis so kritische Sätze sagen. Die Dame lebt in England und Schottland Mitte des Jahrhunderts.
Neben ihren Errungenschaften für das Frauenstudium leistete Frau Blackwell große Pionierarbeit in der Präventivmedizin und der Gesundheitspolitik.

Ihre ganze Familie scheint über den Tellerrand zu blicken, denn auch ihr Bruder, der Herr Henry Blackwell und seine Frau Lucy Stone setzte sie sich sehr stark für die Abschaffung der Sklaverei ein.

Und ich stimme, auch wenn ich kein Arzt bin, ihrer Aussage zu. Ich denke, dass die normale Schule gar nicht in der Lage ist, die einzelnen Talente und Fähigkeiten eines Menschen zu fördern. Geht kaum, bei überfüllten Klassen oder überforderten Lehrern. Selbst wenn der Lehrer etwas gutes schaffen will, scheitert dieser dann am Bildungssystem. Das liegt nicht an der Lehrkraft selbst, es liegt am Bildungssystem, welches noch zu oft veraltete Ansichten lehrt und sich selbst nicht schnell genug mitentwickelt. Dadurch hintert es Menschen, sich selbst zu entwickeln. Es limitiert die kreative Schaffenskraft der jungen Genies. Außer man hat eventuell einen privat Lehrer oder geht auf eine teure Privatschule. Da sind manchmal andere Möglichkeiten gegeben. Doch die Norm und Mehrheit der Menschen, werden in ihrer gesunden Entwicklung zurückgehalten.
