The reason why I want to share this info for new steemains..
4 Blog Posts per 24 Hours: ( It was canceled after hardfork-18 )
Comments:
Comments are a great way to build connection with other users.
Find a dozen users you wish to connect with and leave useful comments on their posts.
Make a habit of responding to as many of the comments on your blog posts as you think merit further discussion.
This keeps your blog post in the active list for longer and thus gives you a chance at greater content creation rewards.
Just make sure each comment is substantial.
Keep in mind that your comments, like your blog posts, are on the Steem blockchain.
Every revision you make is stored and will be there forever.
They can not be deleted.

What was cancelled? The Hardfork? Can you explain? I haven't seen that news...

Ah, gotcha! Yeah, I've seen some crazy posting individuals who I think that rule would benefit the rest of the community from the flood of useless content just to try earning a few more dollars..

Thanks for this simple outline it really helps. I'd already started limiting myself to 4 posts a day and it works well.
Do you have any tips for building a steemit following? I am starting a daily vlog, it makes me nervous because people might not watch it at first. But I'll do it anyway and hopefully people who like it will find me :)

Great points Sir! I limit my posts to 3-4 a day per your advice. Mainly because I do not want to flood everyone - because the volume of posts has really gone up in general in the last 1-2 weeks. Thank you for your guidance. Upvoted

Nice. I've seen this week that making good comments is important. Err, so how do I make this a good comment now - hmm, I feel pressured......well, I did have to hit backspace a few times as I wrote "god cons" when writing "good comments" initially :-p

As I know
Each account can post four blog posts per 24 hour period and get 100% payout for each one. If you post five blog posts in a day, the payout for the 5th falls to 65% of the amount it would have otherwise paid.
6th = 45%
7th = 33%
8th = 25%
