For Filipinos, this line and the lines you will find below are rather familiar as it came from a legendary song originally composed and sang by one of the Philippine’s OPM pride Mr. Marco Sison, one of the classic balladeers to have captured the true vocal essence of OPM in the ‘80s. 

I am pretty sure that some of my “kababayans” here even memorize the song by heart.

Having a hard time deciding on what to write I kept on reading trending and random blogs recently, hoping I could acquire fresh and remarkable ideas aside from being aware that undoubtedly I am also learning while reading, I need that and I really did.  But I will talk about those learnings in my other blog.

Seemingly if you want to read about wonderful experiences in life as well as all those life’s dramas, Steemit is the best place to be.  Story type, plot type, theme, name them all, and you can find it here.  Indeed, Steemit has a long list of categories to choose from. 

Along the way, I get to see great works of a lot of Steemian that somehow stirred me, and that made me decide to transcribe about life, and contemplate about how I could at least convey my words to uplift and inspire those weary spirit left by some painful experiences in the past.

We should be grateful

Yes, life may not be what as we wanted it to be, it may not be great or abundant as it should be, but it’s still something that is not, absolutely granted to all, and granting it was given to someone but later on taken in time we thought still too early, so if you have it now, you are so lucky, you have an incredible gift worth to be treasured and cared for, something we should be thankful and grateful no matter what.

When times get rough, and your dreams just fall apart, And sometimes you feel, that you can’t go on

Truly life is full of ups and down.  It is something one could not even fathom.  At times we feel that the load we are carrying is too heavy to grip such that we tend to retreat from the world we are in. We have questions, a lot of them. 

Then we wanted to escape from the burden of life and dejectedly some even chooses to end everything by their own hands.  Too sad they weren’t able to justify life, made them accountable of what they did and will certainly suffer its consequences.  

But that’s life…

Sad to note that there are those who really failed to face life appropriately.  They didn’t seem to accept that life does not only entails happiness.  Yes life is also full of mysteries, something that is beyond our capacity to decipher, and it also has flaws and sacrifices.

It sadden me because I also realized that people see life as if when someone is broken in certain ways he could not be fixed.  Which I strongly oppose.  Life isn’t as miserable like that.

That is why we need to be strong during those hard times, we must remain to be strong even when the sun doesn’t shine after several storms.  

There ain't no good reason for getting all depressed, when everything seems uncertain, we have to remember that there is one thing that is certain in life, the sun will surely shine, it may not be today or tomorrow but the day after; after the rain, after a storm, otherwise it will defeat its purpose.

When friends turn their backs on you, and you're so helpless, you don’t know what to do, I'll be on your side to comfort you, and my love will see you through.

Someone to lean on, someone to understand

In times of trouble, when you stumble, when tears are in our eyes and wanna cry, we should not forget that we have a lot of good people around us whose shoulder can be leaned upon.  

We have our family, we have relatives and we even have colleagues and friends.  Just look for the right person and your load will surely get lighter and lighter that when you encounter the same problem again in the future, you can surely with all your might, solve it and this time without asking for help, anymore because you are already strong, ready to face any challenges in life. 

When the road seem so long and endless, And all you see is nothing but darkness, don’t give up just walk on, have faith in your heart.

This line is my favorite, when it seems to be no light at all, when we see our life’s glooms and find no answers to our questions, don’t ever give up!

Remember that life is a lesson and we will learn that lesson when were through.
