No not the music artists - just Mother Nature gearing up yesterday for some spectacular evening skies.
Ever since I was small child, the sky has always fascinated me with all the many cloud formations.
There are days with great fluffy clouds that look like cotton wool or candy floss and as they move, one can see shapes of faces, animals - even dragons.
Then there are clouds that look swept across the sky - as a child I was told that was due to the old lady in the sky who was busy cleaning up with her broom - I now tell my grand children this.
Storm clouds are very impressive and often ominous - bearing down on us with dark greys and sometimes black.
Yesterday, I took the photos below because it had been an extremely hot day and as evening approached, one could sense that something beautiful was coming.
Well, I sadly had to miss the final show but saw many photos from friends showing a truly spectacular sunset.
Mother Nature put on a grand show.
We are blessed with her gifts!
