LUT Studio #21 Dustpan pour
Hi everyone! Trying out another technique today called a dustpan pour. I bought a mini dustpan and brush the ohter week, and split it half and half with my husband. He wanted a brush to clean his keyboards - note the S and the end of keyboard as he's got at least two computers on at any one time, don't ask me why. And I needed a small dustpan for my artwork. In my video I'll show you how this is used.
After I did this pour, I used the residual paint to make some bookmarks. I dipped the paper onto the paint instead of pouring the paint over it. The colour of the paint is light and nice and sharp and I got some beautiful patterns. Once they dry properly, I'm going to assembly and varnish them. I have a feeling this will be a lovely batch. It will take some time for them to dry properly, but I will show them to you when they are finished.
In the meanwhile, do check out my latest video of my dustpan pour. Enjoy

What a way to get creative! You seem to find inspiration from what you have around you. It does look good already, colorful and beautiful.
Thanks @leeart. Some people really go to extremes when they pour stuff and have been known to pour over tables and chairs, and even a piano!
Extreme is subjective :D I say it's creative :D
