LUT Studio #17 Water Lily

I've been so busy last week that I haven't had time to do any acrylic painting. Today I've done another acrylic pour and this time I've made sure I use more paint so I don't have to tilt is so much and lose all the definition from the pour. This was quite successful I think. The main colour of my pour is Pearl Copper and when I finished the pour I noticed I had a big patch of the pearl copper in the center. I decided to add something in the center and since I had some green paint left, I did a pull string. This pull string technique is slightly different from the ones I've done previously. Instead of pulling the string slowly in one go, I used a hook to move it in different directions creating more patterns.

Water Lily was the first thing that came to mind when I finished. Not quite the Monet master piece of course.
