The new supporting actor.
Hi .
He already joined the MCU as Cottonmouth in "Luke Cage". It feels a bit wierd to me that he will be playing two parts in the same universe - it was already jarring when Alfre Woodard did it - but I think he'll do an excellent job!
They couldn't have picked a better actor to take on Snipes' legacy from the first three films. Ali gets to go from a bad guy in a Marvel show to the lead of one of their biggest new films. !
I don't know how I feel about this, he is absolutely a fantastic actor however does he have martial arts skills? That was one of the biggest selling points that made blade so good is because Wesley Snipes actually knew martial arts.
Mahershala Ali is an incredible actor and IMO a perfect choice for Blade. Although I do think they should have him in an alternate universe. Killing vampires and demons in this MCU would be odd. Let the movie be R rated so the character doesn't have be toned down.
