I usually don't really post about crypto currency because there are just so many experts out there that it has becoming redundant for repeating posts.

But

This is different. This is just something I have been doing for quite a while and I didn't even realise the value of the token has risen to a fact that I have hidden eggs brewing for emergency use....

Ok... I think you have no idea what I am talking about at the moment... let me just rewind a little...

Have you heard of Presearch?

In August, I stumbled upon the introduction of search and get paid in tokens. I think it was from the #teammalaysia core leaders when they were talking about it.

At the time, its value was 10 cents USD per PRE, and it was just still rather new.

Well, since Google has been really fueling from our searches, why not get paid with it?

As long as every search is legit, I don't see the harm of receiving a little incentive.

To he honest, every search that rewarded 0.25 PRE only can be really diminishing in spirit; but when you really need to do a lot of valid research and with its value hardly there, it truly requires perseverance.

As I have been noticing all the crypto-currency values plunging and rising like a yo-yo even more frequently of late, I have totally forgotten to check how PRE is doing; and see if it is still worth using this service.

And to my surprise...

Even though it started pretty strong in January 2018 at almost 25 cents USD, it didn't die of and kept surviving for more than a year.

And when you are really using it like a daily search especially for my line of work that requires reminders for some coding library, this really comes in handy.

And after searching over 1,556 times, I got about 25 USD...

Wow, imagine if you have been using google for over a thousand times and you did not get paid a single dime...

(That sounds rather sucks....)

Unfortunately...

I am yet to achieve a prominent withdrawal value yet, but hey, at least this will keep encouraging me to keep searching and setting the token aside for exchange later, right?

By the way, another interesting thing that I have noticed when I started searching, even with my default settings I set it to Google, when I use the same keyword searching from Google and Presearch, the results turned out a little different.

I am not certain which continent Presearch uses for engaging with the Google engine, but it is pretty interesting, and less "Malaysia bound" results are out when I need to find something.

But hey, if you don't like Google search engine, there are other choices like Bing and Baidu and so much more for your searching pleasure.
