LEGO elves...
They were on my children‘s craft table, the Barbie car parked underneath. I’m not sure how they managed to transport the sparkly hand bag of LEGO, but they looked like they had a busy night playing with them. They were also messy eaters with Cheerios and sprinkles spread over the table.
Yesterday, Jade was disappointed they had not moved when we came from our outing. She then got anxious, thinking the only explanation was that she might have touched her elf by accident. She also thought they hadn’t eaten any of their biscuit. She wondered if hers might have died!
Jade worries too much.
Much to her relief, all is well today... ;)

Looks like your elves know how to have a good time. The one in our house only knows how to hide on top of the curtain rods or under the couch and other places like that.
Extra dose of mischief these two elves are... thanks for dropping by. :)
Well, two tends to mean double trouble. Ours is stealing clumps of granola tonight. It’s time for him to move though.
Hmmm ... for some reason he’s sideways.
❤️❤️❤️! Lol I’m always glad to hear another parent with the same challenges. Yours does look sneaky. Ours don’t even try to hide, they seem to love the attention. :)
I thought about trying to keep up with the Plants tonight, but decided to stick to the usual routine. I figured combing toys to elves would lead to either elf touching or more sibling confrontation, which there has been enough of lately. 🙄
I looovvve lego... one Christmas, having found my big box of lego from when I was a kid, my flatmates and I built a big lego town into the wee hours (with much wine) so that when my boy woke up on Christmas Eve, he was greeted by a huge town of all sorts of crazy stuff. The look on his face was priceless. I dont know who had more fun - him or us. Probably us! He was totally obsessed with it for years - hours and hours talking and singing to himself as he built spaceships and buildings. So cool. Not cool = standing on lego, or having it shoved in your face at 6 am.
I'm not sure how I feel about elves, however - I findthem a bit creepy...
I am with you, I think the elves are creepy! But my daughters won’t hear of it. I get growled at. 😐
Yes, the early morning visits aren’t the best.... lol. Thanks for dropping by! ❤️
You’re really nice keeping this up, they’d annoy me after the first day 🤣

Oh, it’s not me. I don’t like LEGO as my daughters would know. I’m in the grumpy camp when they are all over the floors. It’s all the elves...😉
That's exactly it. I wouldn't have put up with them wreaking havoc around the place and would have booted them out if they couldn't pull their heads in and follow basic courtesy and house rules like everyone else XD
I don’t like house guests full stop...You at the Aussie Xmas party?
Nope :< I tried to plan and budget for going, and then as it turned out I couldn't go anyway as pixie's dance concert was on the same day. I'll see what happens with any future Xmas parties but have a feeling this is going to keep happening.
Ohmai~ the elves certainly got comfortable quick XD and they have their own Christmas tree :O

Heya kitty, they are settling in real well. I expect more troubles in the future....
This is a fantastic way to promote your girl's creativity. These chapters on elves will be a books soon.
My girls are creativity sponges. Thanks for dropping by, Angie! ❤️
