Acapulco Botanical Garden Adventures: Wet Season Visit Part 3

in #photography7 years ago

I loved these cactuses when I saw them months ago during the dry season and honestly they've grown so much since then. The best part of our visit, other than meeting that nice woman, was to see how much it had changed just through the seasons.

This cross is interesting, not sure if it was here before the park or not but it looks different with some moss growing on it.

So much more lush and green, in the Zona de Aventure or Adventure Zone we were literally tripping over plants to climb boulders, it was so lush. It was a blast and very cool to see. The one bit of advice that woman gave us was to come back often as the place changes throughout the year, that was already the plan but it was nice to have the encouragement from her.

Are cactuses always that thin? I imagined them to be thicker around, at least for full-sized ones.

There are SO many kinds of cactuses.....so no, they're sometimes incredibly wide.

It's great to just slow down sometimes and really just take a closer look. Beauty is all around us and when you take the time to truly look you can find it everywhere. Just like you guys have been doing here :):)

Love it, Lily!! More plant pix plz! :D

are these really cactus? These looks like LED Lights. What a great view btw. Thanx to share this good kind of stuff with us.
