Steemit Engagement Challenge S9W6 : Hard Work or Smart Work?

One more interesting topic to write about from the S9W6 - steemit engagement contest. Hard work or smart work? Both are equally working, but which one is better? Here I will try to give my views. Let's start..

Hard Work

In my view, hard work is using our physical energy to complete a task. Most people who work hard believe that "No Pain No Gain". And in the end those who work hard will arrive at something called success.

Smart Work

Smart work is hard work that adds brain function to get the job done more efficiently. Smart work is also proof that the brain is the main function in controlling every part of the body, including the muscles.

I think people who work smart are lazy, but smart. They understand that humans are given the power to think, so they make good use of it. They analyze before they act. I think that's very cool.

Of course I think that smart work can increase productivity. People who work smart can find ways to shorten time. Which means they can also increase the quantity of output produced. Those who work smart can also save more energy. That is certainly very beneficial because at the same time they can make more than those who work hard.

But smart work often uses the help of tools that actually cost more. If we have plenty of financial resources, it will be easier for us to work smart.

I really like smart work. It saves my energy and increases productivity. I am also a lazy person. Therefore, I always look for ways to get my work done faster. However, after searching and not finding a way, I am forced to work hard.

For example, I was given the task of collecting student data, which amounted to hundreds of entries. Instead of using Ms. Word to process it, I would prefer to use Ms. Excel. With more complete features, I can collect hundreds or even thousands of entries in just a few minutes. That is very efficient. I can also complete other tasks at the same time.

My daily work involves processing data. It will be very useful for me if I work smartly. I avoid working hard as much as possible because I think it is inefficient and can make me tired.

And of course I also work hard. For example, when I work out to shape my body a little bit. I can't work smart if I want to have a well-proportioned body. I apply hard work in shaping my body.

A few days ago, I read a post from one of the steemit team reporting on their work in supporting newcomers to the platform. I am one of those newcomers. I realized how much work and support they provide, especially to us as newcomers. I really appreciate their work.

To the steemit team members, i would like to say thank you for your hard work and smart work. I wish you guys have good health and i hope i can join to steemit team one day.
