My Actifit Report Card: June 13 2020
Not much going on today. I just spend some time doing a few things around the house. Mostly I tinkered around with the new Raspberry Pi computer.
I've tried a lot of versions of Ubuntu desktops on Ubuntu Server and none of them seemed to work really well with the Pi. There was a lot of odd display issues, performance issues and bugs.
The Raspberry Pi Operating system works well though. But I'm not sure if I can build the software I really want to run on it.
I suppose I should try to figure out what exactly I want to do with the system. Just a bare bones server running just terminal processes might work but I would like to do more with the computer if possible.
Right now it sort of feels like some high maintenance sports car or something. I've spent a lot of time trying to sort out different issues and not much time getting the stuff I really want to run going.
Hopefully I can make a little better progress and spend more time out exercising.

I wonder if you can use your raspberry Pi to automate some of the things in your house @lightsplasher? I guess it needs some a little know-how about how to d it then.
