My Actifit Report Card: January 14 2020

There was lots of snow this morning. Maybe and inch or two after it finished coming down. It cleared in the afternoon and the sun came out.

This morning three of us played disc golf in the snow. Here's a picture of what it looked like at tee time:

The course was snowy, wet and muddy. It was really fun but you had to watch really carefully where the discs went and look under the snow to find them. Sometimes the snow would cover up hidden mud puddles so you had to be careful about where you were walking too. It was not difficult if you knew the course well enough to avoid all the puddles.

There were not many other people playing disc golf and we joked around about being the hard core disc golfers.

We played eighteen baskets on the course doing an alternate layout on the second round of nine baskets to make it more challenging. There were three par four baskets on the second round of nine.

I thought the scores were pretty good considering how difficult the conditions were. The tee pads were covered with snow and it was rather difficult to get a good throw from them. I was mostly concerned with not falling down during the throw.

I played with gloves on and it actually seemed to be easier for me to make my putts with gloves. Driving off the tee was more difficult though and towards the end of the game I was taking off my glove just to do the throw.

The rest of my steps were from shoveling some snow. It looks like it is snowing some more this evening so I might need to shovel some more tomorrow.
